The Lodge Holiday Party is this weekend at Camp Herms. If you are planning to attend please sign-up ASAP. Food is being prepared based upon the sign-ups. There is no cost for this event.
There will be a Secret Santa gift exchange – bring a gift valued around $10 if you want to participate.
Heavy hor d’oeurves, snacks, slushies will be provided by the Lodge.

Time to Pay your Dues
Ut-In Sélica Lodge dues are renewed annually. Dues can be renewed online or through the mail. Dues are $20 per year. You do not have to pay back dues, just pay the current year to get current. For $90 you can get an annual pass, the 2019 Gold Card. The Gold Card includes the 2019 lodge dues, the event registration fees for the induction weekends, the Fall Lodge Fellowship and Annual Lodge Banquet. For questions regarding dues status or pocket flap orders, contact email@example.com. Don’t wait, remember you must be a dues paid member to participate in lodge activities. The Council is using a new payment system, if you are having problems please watch these two videos. The first explains entering your contact information. The second explains the booking process.
2019 marks the 25th anniversary of the Ut-In Selica Lodge. We are making a special patch available for this celebration. Cost of the patch will be $10 and can be added to your dues payment.
There is also a special three patch set (very limited quantities) consisting of the 25th anniversary patch, a “ghosted” version of the match, and a mylar version of the patch available for purchase from the Lodge trading post for $50. See it at the annual lodge banquet in November.

Congratulations to the 2019 Founders Award Recipients
Kyle Van Hoesen
The Founders Award was introduced at the 1981 National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC), it recognizes Arrowmen who have given outstanding service to their lodge. The award is reserved for an Arrowman who demonstrates that he or she personifies the spirit of selfless service, as advocated by founders E. Urner Goodman and Carroll A. Edson. The Lodge may petition the national Order of the Arrow committee to present up to two awards annually. If more than one award is presented , one must be awarded to a youth (under the age of 21).

The 2019 Lodge Banquet ended with the call out of Ut-In Sélica Lodge’s Class of 2019 Vigil Candidates. The circle widens again for new brothers and sisters of the Vigil. Many are worthy, few are called.
